A Message from the Headteacher
Welcome to St. Patrick's International School. Whether you are a prospective parent exploring our school for the first time, or a member of our extended family checking in on all that we do, it is my pleasure to share a little of what makes this school so special.
St. Patrick's opened its doors in Blantyre in 1995 on the firm belief that every child is unique, but all children need excellent education and motivation if their spirit, mind and body are to be well developed. Thirty years on, that founding belief still shapes everything we do, from our youngest learners in Cambridge Early Years to our A Level students preparing for university and the world beyond.
We are proud to offer the Cambridge International curriculum, delivered by dedicated and highly qualified teachers who know our students by name and take a genuine interest in their progress. But we also know that education is about more than examination results. It is about curiosity, character and confidence — qualities we nurture through our academics, sport, music, art and the many other activities that fill our school day.
None of this would be possible without the strong partnership we share with our parents and guardians. We see education as a team effort, and I encourage every family to stay closely involved in their child's journey with us. Together, we listen, we notice, and we communicate, so that every learner in our care feels safe, supported and motivated to succeed.
I warmly invite you to visit our campus, meet our staff and students, and experience the St. Patrick's community for yourself. I look forward to welcoming you.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Carol Kunyenje
Headteacher
